James wanted to address the needs and struggles of these believers, providing them with wisdom and guidance in their daily lives.

(James 2:14, KJV)

He paints a vivid picture of the power of prayer, saying, "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16, KJV). Prayer is not a mere ritual; it is a direct line of communication with the Almighty, a channel through which we can experience the supernatural intervention of God.

With a touch of James' trademark wit, he reminds us of the power of a community that prays together. "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.in!" (James 5:16, KJV).

James says in 1:19-20, KJV; "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God." James 3:13, KJV. He says; "Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom." James 1:5, says; "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." James 4:10, says; "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." James 1:12, KJV says; "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him."
