Sister Emily Catherine Rhoades Ordained as Minister Through Universal Life Church

POINT, TEXAS — October 27, 2025
In a heartfelt ceremony marked by grace and gratitude, Minister Emily Rhoades was officially ordained as a minister through the Universal Life Church on Monday, October 27. The ordination affirms a lifelong calling to serve, uplift, and heal—one she has already lived out through years of compassionate outreach and spiritual leadership.
Known throughout the community for her work with the Convalescent Connection Ministry and her tireless support of single parents and the homeless, Minister Emily’s ordination is both a personal milestone and a public recognition of her ministry’s impact. Her care has long been described as “a sanctuary,” and now, with formal credentials in hand, she steps fully into her role as a commissioned servant of the Gospel.
The ceremony was celebrated quietly but meaningfully, with family, ministry partners, and community members offering prayers and blessings. Reverend Danny Rhoades, co-founder of Rhoades Well Traveled Ministries, shared his joy: “Emily’s heart has always been ordained. Today, the paperwork just caught up.”
Minister Emily’s ordination certificate, issued by the Universal Life Church, now joins the legacy wall of RWTM—marking a new chapter in a ministry built on porch-style hospitality, practical compassion, and faith in action.
Her journey continues, now with a title that matches the truth: Minister, healer, and hope-holder.
