Well, I'm here to tell you that there is a way out! The Heavenly Headquarters that God has set up for us is ready and waiting. In Hebrews 12:22-24, it says, “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.” And in Revelation 14:1-5, it goes on to say, “And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.”
So what can we learn from this? First, we can be sure that God is always there for us. As we read in Hebrews 12:22-24, we can come to His Heavenly Headquarters and find an innumerable company of angels ready to support us. That means when life seems too much for us to handle on our own, we have a place to go where we can find strength in numbers.
Second, we can be confident that God will always lead us in the right direction. In Revelation 14:1-5 we read that He will provide us with a path filled with music and joy. Even when things seem dark or uncertain, God will give us direction if we just trust Him.
Finally, we can know that God has already provided everything we need. In both passages we see that God has already made provisions for us to have strength and joy in our lives. All we have to do is accept what He has already provided.
My Brothers and Sisters, no matter what struggles or obstacles we may face in life, remember that God has already prepared a Heavenly Headquarters for us. He has given us all we need to succeed - all we have to do is trust Him and accept His gifts! So today I encourage you to use your faith as a compass and make your way to the Heavenly Headquarters God has prepared for you. Then watch as He guides you to victory - one heavenly step at a time!
