GOD'S WORD

And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them;

and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

- Amos 9:14 - 15 KJV

 Prayer Works

Reverend Danny Rhoades

Greetings, my fellow Brothers and Sisters. In today’s

devotional, I shall delve into 'Prayer and how prayer

works.  Prayer is our direct line of communication

with God. It’s a powerful tool that connects us to

the divine, allowing us to express our hearts, seek

guidance, and experience His presence. Let’s delve

into the truth that prayer truly works.

Scriptures from the King James Version Bible About Prayer:

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (KJV)

“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Prayer is continuous communion with God. It’s an ongoing conversation that brings joy and gratitude.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Through prayer, we find peace that transcends understanding.

1 John 5:14 (KJV)

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.”

Our confidence lies in knowing that God hears our prayers when aligned with His will.

Colossians 4:2 (KJV)

“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.”

Persistence in prayer, coupled with gratitude, yields powerful results.

Jeremiah 29:12 (KJV)

“Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.”

God listens when we call upon Him in prayer.

Mark 11:24 (KJV)

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Faith-filled prayer brings about manifestation.

In conclusion prayer is not a mere ritual; it’s a lifeline. As we pray, let’s trust that God hears us, responds, and works in ways beyond our understanding. Prayer indeed works!

Feel free to meditate on these verses and incorporate them into your daily life. May your prayer life deepen, and may you experience the transformative power of communicating with our Heavenly Father.

Brothers and Sisters, I hope and pray that you have enjoyed and gained some great knowledge reading my devotional today on " Prayer Works " as I have researching and writing about them.

As you continue your journey of faith, I would love to hear from you, so I'm inviting you to join me in my ministry "Rhoades Well Traveled Ministry," and share your passion for spiritual growth and service, with me.

May we find strength, courage, and wisdom to walk in faith and embrace God's purpose for our lives, as we step out into the world. Have a great and blessed day ahead. Amen.
