Key Idea 1: The power of God’s grace can help us make decisions.
The power of God’s grace can provide us with clarity and direction in difficult situations. Acts 15:1-29 tells us the story of the early church leaders debating over the issue of whether or not Gentiles should be circumcised in order to be saved. In the end, it was decided that the Gentiles should not be circumcised and that the power of grace was enough to save them. This story is a powerful reminder that God’s grace is more than enough to save us in any situation.
Key Idea 2: We can rely on God’s mercy to forgive us for our sins.
Romans 3:21 tells us that “the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe.” This verse reminds us that no matter what we have done, God’s mercy and grace will always be there for us. No matter how deep our sins may be, we can rely on His mercy and grace to forgive us and provide us with a fresh start.
Key Idea 3: We can trust God to guide us through any situation.
No matter what situation we may find ourselves in, we can trust God to guide us through it. We can trust that He will provide us with the clarity and direction we need to make decisions. We can also trust that He will provide us with the mercy and grace we need to forgive our sins and start anew.
Brothers and Sisters, today I challenge you to trust in the power of God’s grace and mercy to guide you through any decision or situation you may face. Remember, with God all things are possible, and His grace is more than enough to save us.
Let's close today with this thought: No matter the situation, God's grace is always greater than our imperfections.
